This meet-up was about setting our goals – short or long term goals. I loved the idea of making our own goal board which we can stick our goals on – I stole the idea above from my fav app Pinterest. We coloured in pictures from a Mindfulness Colouring book and put our goals on post-it notes. It was a fun and easy way to make a ‘Goal Board’.
Feeling good about the future is important for our happiness. We all need goals to motivate us and these need to be challenging enough to excite us, but also achievable. If we try to attempt the impossible this brings unnecessary stress.
Choosing ambitious but realistic goals gives our lives direction and brings a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when we achieve them – Action for Happiness.
It was a really fun meet up and Charlotte Hampson was a great host & her family who spoilt us rotten with champagne & cakes! I also loved the ‘joy sticks’ that her children made for us –
Through the random & v funny conversations we had (old people, feet, moles) we did manage to make some goal sheets & practice our mindful colouring! Here are a couple –
Thanks again Charlotte – we all loved our Joy Puppets & fell in love with Bruce (the dog) x
